The REAL Power of Joint Ventures
The JVU Founders | August 7th, 2009 | Joint Venture Training, NewsletterAs co-founder and President of The JV University I would like to personally welcome you to our blog. It was about 9 years ago (after listening to a tape of Jay Abraham) I did my first Joint Venture which took my then business from $100,000 to $500,000 in just 10 months and after that I was hooked!
Recently I just completed my first ‘Million Dollar’ Joint Venture with a company that has a database of 4 million paying customers which took me just 30 days to put together. I managed to do ALL this at zero-cost to myself using the REAL power of Joint Ventures.
This is why it is important that you learn about the many benefits of a joint venture. Only by knowing them will you realize their worth. And as Donald Trump says in his book, The Art Of The Deal, you cannot sell what you do not believe in. By learning the several advantages of joint ventures, you will know how important they are for any business. This will empower you with the ability not only to use them successfully but also (if you choose to become a JV Broker) to sell them with efficiency as your words will sound more credible if you actually believe in what you’re promoting.
Let’s take a look at two of the main benefits that can be brought about by joint ventures:
- Joint ventures will allow you to compensate for the areas you are weak in. Your partners will provide the knowledge and the skills that are needed in those areas. For example, you’re great with product creation, but you’d rather at a loss when it comes to marketing. Your partners in a joint venture will give you the marketing push that you need to profit in a shorter space of time.
- Joint ventures allow you to grow your profits very quickly and also offer great branding potential for FREE. Joining a group of highly respected and established names in your industry will allow your business to acquire some of their luster. If you have a joint venture with Microsoft for example, you can immediately see how such a JV partnership would do wonders in how people perceive you and your business.
Over the few weeks, Gina and I will be filling you in on the details of what’s coming and how YOU fit in! Subscribe to the RSS feed here on the blog to stay up to date so you won’t miss any of the details!
To Your Abundant Joint Venture Success!

Very good advice. I’ve been entertaining the idea of bringing in a partner to the company that would allows us both to grow and expand our businesses.
First time here – your blog looks quite interesting. Will definitely check out the rest of the posts.
Thanks for the info!

Yeah, absolutely correct. The example was very nice and yeah normally if you have a joint venture with any reputed company, you’re definitely going to enjoy the benefits of that credibility your partners enjoy.
One should make sure they’re doing a venture with the right partner who has the potential to take their business forward.

Definitely a good example. A joint venture helps spread the risk as well. Given the state of the economy, a joint venture makes a lot of sense right now.

Yea, joint ventures can really turn bad, especially with family members.
